Sky is set to debut a new sci-fi drama on the channel in May 2020.
The first episode will be available to Sky subscribers from June 7.
It will follow an alien-hunting mission and will be broadcast in HD, with the first half of the series to be seen in 720p.
The series will also include a “secret mission” involving a group of scientists and a new character, which is set on Earth but the programme will take place in the far future.
Sky, which will have its own channel in the US and a wide-ranging offering in other markets, is not the first major UK broadcaster to move to Sky in the wake of the US presidential election.
In December, Sky launched its own channels for US audiences including Fox News and CNN.
